laleham school was really good it was really sad when we left but i really enjoyed my 4 years there and miss lunn is a really good headteacher and i will miss all the teachers there because they were so nice and kind i miss laleham school

in reply to 'governer', Miss Stevens was THE best teacher you could get, i was in her class the year she left..... we bought her a bicycle!
all the teachers at laleham were wonderful, and all the pupils... I never though i'd miss it, but I do! Great school, appreciate it, that's right kids!

As I am in my 80's I have not got a computer but my daughter read this sight and I am an ex pupil which went to this school back in the l930's.so am leaving my message. The school was very strict and times were hard in the l930's. My brother and sisters all went to the school. We can all remember being taught our tables and know them well after all these years. It sounds alot more fun now then it was all those years ago. School work is never wasted.

This is a very good school and I'm really enjoying it I'm in year 4 now but soon I'll be in year 5 I'm so exsited and nervous at the same time.

I started in 2006 it was scary for my first time but I soon got to make many friends for years. BUT MY SISTER IS IN SCHOOL NOW AND SHE IS IN YEAR ONE AND I AM IN YEAR THREE .

I started Laleham in 2003 and I can remember feeling very apprehensive about my first day. However, I made lots of great friends and I am only going to know two when I leave in September!
Thank you for a great time at Laleham! I will definitely renenber my primary school years!

I've left laleham now but i used to go there and can i tell you i miss it loads all the teachers and all my old friends!!
i now go to thamesmead Yr7 and i love it to bits! but i wodnt off been able to get in there if it wernt from what ive learnt at laleham,so i would like to say a big thanks to all my teachers and my yr6 teacher (missdebeager) mainly because she helped me through my last year at laleham.If your reading this now and you go to laleham you may not like it or you may do but if you dont trust me when you leave no matter how much you dont like it you will be sad for leaving!

Laleham was the best school I've ever been to I'm in year 9 now and still in touch with people I used to go with there. This is the BEST primary school you could ever get. I miss it so much!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone at Laleham. I left at seven years-old, during year 2 in 2000 when i moved to southern California. Im still living here and loving the sun, but miss my roots. Everyone out here is still surprised that I've kept hold of my 'accent' and I'm constantlyt asked which country I like more. I still don't have an answer but every time I attempt to give one Laleham comes to mind. =]
So many good memories, and I miss it loads! xxx

I left you in 2007 and it's never been the same without you! I just want to thank everyone there for making some of my school years legendary!

I am a parent looking into primary schools for my daughter for sep 09.
The school website is very friendly and welcoming and there is lots of information.
It is nice to see so many past and present pupils saying such lovely things about the school. Laleham will be on my list for sure!

Laleham has given me such happy and unforgetable memories... The students were nice and staff were lovely.. I'm now in Year 10. Hope all of my ex-classmates are doing well with their exams. x

It's great to see so many positive comments on the Website.
I used to go to Laleham between 1975 and 1982 and am lucky that as of September both my children will be at the school.
It has changed but not that much but lets remember Mr Seddon, Mr Morgan, Miss Shorter, Miss Stevens, Mr Griffiths, the Panda Competition, the Met Police 5 a side football competetion, the Dad's v lads football and the Dad races at Sports Day. Great days..
I want Laleham to provide the best learning environment possible for our children. I thought that becoming a Governor might allow me to help the staff in some small way achieve that goal. It's great to help where I can, when I can, if I can.

I left Laleham school in 1981, I lived in the village until 1986, I now live in Stratford Upon Avon, I would have loved my kids to have gone to the school, as they would have loved it as much as i did.

I worked at Laleham School as a midday supervisor between 1998 and 1999. I really loved the teachers and children, and have very fond memories. I am currently training to become an Occupational Therapist

I LOVE LALEHAM

I went to Laleham school from 1973 and my dad and my two brothers also went! I would really love my daughter to go there to as I loved it and have some very fond memories of the teachers ( Mr Griffiths) and the pupils, I never wanted to leave. It was a wonderful school then and I hear it still is so fingers crossed My daughter gets accepted....

i can't believe how fast my time at Laleham went! it is such a fantastic school, and nothing could possibly replace the amazing staff, lessons and all the smiles around the school. I never thought i would miss it as much as i do! and Mr. Bruce was right, you never know how amazing and great primary school is until you leave. i left laleham this summer and m really sad about it. I'm going 2 matthew arnold and willreally miss allmyfriends. I went to Laleham years ago and left in 1975. It was an excellent school then with excellent standards and it seems those standards are just as good. I had a brilliant time there and have very fond memories.

i was a pupil at laleham school from 1977 to 1984 and have very fond memories of my time there. i am now working as a primary teacher and believe my enthusiasm for teaching was influenced by my favourite teacher and much loved family friend, mrs margaret cooper/ bailey. she is sadly missed.

i used to go to Laleham c of E, i am now in my final year at university studying musical theatre, i was first inspired to want to be an actress whilst being at Laleham and being Alice in ALICE IN WONDERLAND ! i loved doing the end of year 6 shows, it was very different to how it was now, there was no literacy hour,we used to have rabbits,also we did loads of art,and used Ginn maths book! i remember teachers such as miss shirvill, mrs Keesing, Mrs Ukiah! i am now going into an acting career. but i had alot of fun times at laleham school! x jessica Cotton Slark

Looked at new web site but cant find any of the original comments from the older generation. I was at the school from 1950 to 1956. Any plans to put them on?
FYI I am teaching Nautical Subjects at South Tyneside College after having spent 36 years at sea, starting as apprentice and ending as Captain, on large tankers.

I love the flowers, bumble bees and butterflies at the top of the page. I think the bugs are really sweet. I love my teacher Mrs Cade. She is the best teacher ever!
